What does this mean?
Went to doc and they said I'm dilated to 1cm and baby's head is engaged at -3. I get labor contractions only when I stand and lay flat, mild irritation in the urerus when relaxed. Doe that mean baby is close to delivery? I'm 37w 1d.
I've never had this with my first two unless I was in labor. So its a bit odd to me. It confuses me.
The baby may have 'dropped' some but isn't considered fully engaged till 0 station. Could be a couple days or a couple weeks yet for you but good to know your baby and body are getting ready
They said baby has dropped for sure.

Baby has not descended fully into your pelvis, rather. As kammilynn21 said, that's at 0. Baby is working his/her way down though.
