Congrats did you have vaginal birth? How was the process? Hopefully you can give some details I'm a first time mommy just wondering what I'll be in for. Even though every woman body is different.

Yes it was vaginal. This time it was more traumatic than my first delivery. Because when my water bag burst they noticed that he has pass stool in me. He was in distress; chord was around his neck. But we are both fine now.

They scan should be accurate as long it was done early (like before 12w).  Last period date can be wrong if you ovulated late.  But if you have the same no. Of weeks then you must be starting at the same point - but then you should have the same due date.

Hopefully the other doctor can give you more advice.  Very strange!

I have her the date of my last period. Which is October 30. And she did a scan. Everyone I question her she saying it's September. She's out the country though and someone filling in for her I'm going to ask this doctor and see what she says.

That's insane, how can she think you're 39weeks if she has calculated your due date as September???  Do you know on what basis she calculated your due date? Scan or LMP?  What does she say when you tell her that if your due date should be at 40weeks ( I.e. in august).  Is she saying you're not due until 44w or something?

How can your weeks be in sync if your due dates are different?  Your due date is 40 weeks.

That is why I am confused because we're in sync on that just not the due date. So she has to ne wrong right?

My calculations for my due date is August 5 but she gave me September 7. When I go to see her we are always in sync with how many weeks I am. Just the due date be wrong. I asked her already and she is very adamant that it's September but if that is so I would have gone over 40 weeks as I'm at 39 weeks now. Yes I have a child already. A son who is two years.

They're only estimated but can still be wrong, they go by he size of the baby (scan) and if you haven't had a scan yet they go by your first day of your last period or they feel your tum and estimate from there. Mine felt my tum and estimated I'd be 9 weeks (what I thought) and then I had a scan and was told 6 which I knew had to be wrong but I went with it and she can 2 weeks before the date they gave and a week after my date I'd given myself hehe, talk to your doctor if you're worried hun, they will double check and put your mind at ease:-) congratulations...I am now 27 weeks with my boy and my due date is only 2 days off what I thought this time so I know it's right lol and my daughter is 15 months, do you already have kids?:-)
