Whats a name that would go well with the last name Gunn? Any suggestions?
Ok our last name is Gunn my husbands name is timothy gunn which is funny cause thats also a big fashion deisgners name too lol Mine is deborah. We were trying to find a name boy or girl that would go well with Gunn. To me its really hard to find a name that fits well with that. We kinda thought Owen Gunn for a boy. Not sure on a girl yet.

I will, have some ideas from on here. I never knew it would be this hard! I think i will have a better idea when i find out the sex soon. Once i found out my baby's sex im hittin the stores! lol

Even then a kid will be made fun of for something, if its not his name, its his clothes, if not clothes its his voice, theres so many things so, im not too worried on a name. Unless its too ridiculous.
lol its funny cause everyone is naming a boys name and i dont even know the sex yet. Ive also bought a super cute boy outfit lol so maybe its a sure sign its going to be a boy?? Haha Plus my hubby wants one and i had a feeling it was at first...but sometimes i think it could be a girl i dunno. I will find out soon enough! :)

I honestly feel outta the loop.. I dont get what they could tease about Tommy Gunn.. Unless I'm just the DERR!! lol. Can someone tell me?? lol
Durham wrote about the nickname "Tommy Gunn", and when I gave my suggestion of Thomas Gunn I wasn't even paying attention to the nicknames! I'm glad she caught it tho ...kids can be cruel ...even when a name doesn't have anything obvious to make fun of. They will *find* something.
I also liked a couple of names Keepurfaith mentioned: Kyle, Brody (only as a middle name tho), and Christopher. Christopher Brody Gunn sounds cool too. =-D

As for a boy though I've been thinking about things that go with Owen. Other than Timothy.. Or you could atleast give him your DH's name with the Owen the middle name so it's Timothy Owen.

Owen Remington Gunn sounds like a strong name to me. The only thing I have to remember when I'm naming my child(ren) is that I'm naming them as an adult because they won't be babies for ever you know. lol So when I do finally have a chance to, I'll have a hard time with it! lol
As for a boy though I've been thinking about things that go with Owen. Other than Timothy.. Or you could atleast give him your DH's name with the Owen the middle name so it's Timothy Owen.

Okay someone mentioned Thomas Gunn - don't do that b/c then he will be tommy gunn, and kids will just love to tease - although some people like things like that - where we live people had the last name ball and they named their kids Crystal and Cannon. So if your into that thing or want to avoid it don't do

Wow thats awesome advice! thanks guys. I liked owen but to me it just has a weird...sound to it when its paired of with gunn. I wrote down tyler,jeremiah,olivia for some options. Those names sound good with my last name.
I also think that the last name *Gunn* has a classic ring to it! I love that last name.
I am also weird about having them end the same.. Wow Avanaar!! We are name twins! =)

I'm going to give suggestions of names from my own family, since they're on the top of my mind ...there are *so* many names out there, that it's hard to pull random ones out of the air for me!

The two N sounds at the end just bug me. This is my own personal pickiness, however, but just remember that whatever name you and your husband choose and are happy with, it won't matter what other people think!!

Yeah he wanted to add timothy, i think it would be a good idea. Ameila is a very cute name too.

Thank you for the suggestions. Wow i really like lillian maire gunn, it sounds really good together. my maiden in galasso so gunn was a bit different for me i just have no idea what goes with that.
