What's going on with me?!

Hi everyone, I am 19 years old and have never had regular periods before. I would sometimes skip months at a time and other times continue my period for over a month. It has always been very heavy, but never to crampy. I get a lot of heat flashes through out the day. I haven't had my period since June 23, 2015. I am worried I could be pregnant. I have taken 5 pregnancy tests that all read negative. I have only had protected sex with a condom. I missed my period for the whole month of July, now the past few days my breasts have been aching a lot. They are sore, tender, and hard as rocks.  My breats have never ached before the past several months since my new sexual partner starting in May. The past two months they go on and off from being normal to not. My boobs have never been a issue for me, other than being very large (DD) They never would hurt before a period untill my last period. I have no symptoms of pregnancy other than my breasts and a missed period. I do not feel tired or sore. I have no Nashua or vomiting. I have not gained or lost weight. I am unsure of what's happening since I missed my period and my breats are so tender. I had taken my first pregnacy test a few days after July 23 on the 25 it had read negative. I took my second pregnacy test on July 28 giving it a few days to bring up the levels of my hormones to be detected. It still was negative. I took another two pregnacy tests today August 3. It is still negitive. I have now missed my period for 41 days since my last cylce. Do you think I just missed an ovulating cycle? What could be wrong with me. Please don't say see your doctor, I am waiting for my insurance to kick in so I can't go to the doctor right now. What can I do at home to get my period? Or if I am pregnant how would I know? Thank you!

Update: So I woke up today and got my period! It is defiantly my period and not spotting.  So I am very thankful. I am unsure of what caused me missing the whole month of July. However, it has been almost exactly 8 weeks so I completley skipped a period and was on time for my next one. I guess I didn't ovulate for that month? So bizzare. I'll be keeping more of an eye on my period from now on.

Not likely you're pregnant if you're having protected sex..i was on birth control and went over a year before i had my first period off of it..try taking vitamin b, its good for you, its good for the baby if you do get pregnant, and its the ONLY thing that would regulate my period..plus i tried for over 6 months to conceive and not even 2 months of taking my vitamins i got a positive test! Im now almost 37 weeks! Good luck!!!

There are many different types of pills with different hormone amounts and whatnot out there. Keep trying different ones til you find one that works best for you. I think I tried 2 other different ones before finding that the 3rd one I tried was the best one.

I have been on the pill before, it just typically makes me sick for some reason that's why I stopped using it. So maybe I just need to keep trying different brands, Ive tried several but all make me feel kinda icky. That was even before I was having sex so it's not related. thanks so much everyone!

I'm guessing you aren't pregnant, but see a medical professional to be sure. Seeing as how you're sexually active, have you ever considered maybe getting on the pill? It can help regulate your cycles!

That sounds a lot like my menstrual cycle. Unpredictable, long, and with bouts of sore boobies. Ask your doctor about endometriosis and PCOD, both of which can cause those symptoms.

Yes there is a plan parent hood. I'll have to go there and get some blood tests done while I wait for my insurance company to change. Everytime after sex we always make sure the condom is okay, I am even so anal I make him run it under water to make sure there is no leaks. I just don't feel pregnant, but who knows untill I take a blood test.

Is there a planned parenthood where you are that you could check out?

Yeah. My boobs were really sore before i found out, but i did show up positive on a home test. I know some woman dont produce enough hormones for it to show up on one. The blood test would really tell you. And since your period was very random to begin with its hard to tell when you became pregnant (if you are). I would wait another month or so and try to take a test again. Take it when you first wake up. If you cant handle the wait i would do some research about blood test in your area to see if it is free or not.

The only thing that is new is my breasts being so sore and tender. They feel so heavy and hard. It concerns me knowing that i have never had that issue before. You know?

Have you tried getting the blood test. I'm pretty sure it's free, but it might depend on where you live. Other than that I'm not sure. When i was at the beginning of my pregnancy my boobs were the only symptom. If they don't give free pennant test where you're from you might just have to wait until that insurance kicks in.

You've said it yourself, you've never had regular cycles. I suggest you let it be 2 whole months before you try testing again. And try not to stress that can also cause your period to skip. For the mean time just keep your eye out. You never know, it could be a false alarm.
