I started to get nauseous even before I was expecting my period and then at week 12 it was gone. I didn´t vomit but was dry heaving which I consider worse because the feeling of nausea doesn't get any better. I couldn`t find anything that made it better. Brushing my teeth made me dry heave lot. It's only happened a few times this trimester (2nd) but it's pretty much gone.
Well when I hit 14 weeks it basically went away. I am definitely feeling better and am actually eating supper now!!
I hope it lets up for you soon, I am almost 18 weeks and still throwing up like once a week and am still nauseous every morning. It s u c k s!
See, I prefer to puke because it gives me some relief for a while. If I am dry heaving and nothing comes out I cough a few times and it usually comes out.
Ahhh, thats what its called. "Dry Heave" I have that to. Im glad i have that instead of actually vomitting. Im hoping this lets up by week 12 for me:(
Yes ladies, I feel for all you out there suffering through this icky part of our blessing. This is my third and I swear the morning sickness with this one is far worse than it was with my other two children. Each pregnancy has gotten more challenging with the morning sickness. I dry heeve numerous times daily, which never happened before. Last time I was just nauseated all the time. Hopefully it clears up for all of us soon. Wishing you all healthy and happy mamas and babies!!!
The thing is, I doesn't matter if I've just eaten or not... it's just dry heaving - and it hurts like H-E -double hockey stick! Oh well, I guess it's good that I'm not actually puking....
Can't help you, I'm sorry. I haven't gotten any nausea. morning sickness or heartburn yet and hopefully I never will.
If it would make you feel better to actually throw up then pull the trigger. Try eating slowly so your stomach makes room for the food slowly, insted it kinda goes up and down until it settles... Don't drink soda as it fills you up with air and wanting to burp probably makes you want to throw up. Just drink water with a couple of drops of lemon or lime and that should help.
Honestly if I could have gotten away with dry heaving I would have been in heaven during my morning sickness, everything I ate came back up for 4 months straight... Don't eat any pickles they burn like hell coming back up...
Be glad you don't puke!! I couldn't keep a thing down for 18 weeks. The dry heaving should let up by the middle of your 2nd trimester. Try to avoid eating too much at any given time, and stay hydrated. Hope you feel better soon!
I find the only time I dry heave and have something in my system its because there isnt any if much water.(too thick) If you drink a couple glasses then you would probably puke. tmi, i know!
