Wic / Medical in California

So with wic how does the process work ? Tomorrow I am taking my referral and  gonna try to get medical since I have the temporary medical.. What do I need to take with me? Also do you get your wic vouchers the same day or later.? I know medical takes time but I dunno about wic.

In cali,  L.A., WIC sends you the checks in the mail..so u don't get them for around 3 days...then on your first appt with them after ur registered u get them in person.

Ya thats basically all u need nd u get checks same day :)

Yeah you get them the same day I live in Cali  as well

Yeah I have that. My referral is my proof. One paper has my name an due date an counselor that is "referring" me then another paper with my name weight height due date and my HCT & HGB levels.

yeaa , you need proof of pregnancy from your doctor with your due date or you can't signup

well witg my wic I got my little checks the same day.  you can only buy certain foods with it thou.

Wichita they give u first visit just bring proof of pregnancy
