Hi there. Congrats on the pregnancy. 34 weeks! Almost done and ready to meet baby. Try not to worry. I understand though as I worried a lot too. It tells me you'll be a great mom as you are already concerned for the welfare of your baby bean. At 34 weeks, your baby has already gone through a LOT Of actual development. Things are 'maturing' more so than developing. :>)
You did this one major time, I'm guessing all will be fine. Best to ventilate a room if cleaning from now on. There may be a link between cleaning products and raspatory issues and wheezing but that is not well studied and I would not think that would happen at all with a one time big cleaning. From now on, open windows when you clean, look for some green products (baking soda works really well on some things, vinegar and water, etc). I fertilized my law when pregnant with one of my kids. I wasn't thinking!! And they were not born with three heads. So, I would just be careful from not on and not worry.
What is the new place like? That's exciting too!
Yes, think you'll be okay! You can still clean but just ventilate and use different products than bleach based. :>) I was really nervous too so I get it. But then I did things like I painted a room (nursery) and my husband walked in and was like "um, don't you want to open a window". And I was like "oh, poop. ya, I should do that." Oh well. lol We do the best we can. So, what month is your baby due? How has the pregnancy been going?
Ahh, I can tell how excited you are! Such a special time in your life. So, your last month. My recommendation is to do some nice things for yourself. You have a little less 'me' time once you have your sweet baby so do a few little indulgences just for you before she gets here. Have a date night too. :>) Anyway, keep in touch and hope you love the new home. hugs
Always best to check with your doctor but your baby should be fine! You are fairly far along so less risk and I read that you should air your house out for 1/2 hour after not going in 2 to 4 hours after bombing for bugs. So, if you wait a couple hours, then open windows, you should be all good! :))
Do it on a day you can get out for the day and it shouldn't be a problem at all, hon! I'd do it now rather than have the bugs when baby arrives! :>))
My doctor basically told me about fumes that unless you dunk your head in the cleaning liquid, it is not going to hurt you. I'd check on the website of the roach-killing product and see if there is an FAQ list that involves the residue around pets or children. But if it is a no-residue product I wouldn't worry.
