Another update on uterus, had u/s today

So if you have been keeping up with me, I have been having problems with my uterus not growing.  So my doctor finally gave me an u/s today to see what the problem is.  Everything looked fine!!!!!  He showed me his heartbeat, and showed me his tummy  and him breathing.  His placenta looked great and he said theres the perfect amount of fluid.  he also said his head is really way down there.  and its big lol..  He also showed me and reasurred me for the 5th time(ive had 5 u/s) that hes still a boy! lol

Okay but heres the thing, he meassured all of his body parts.  His head, spine, and legs are meassuring a week ahead which would be 37 weeks 4 days, but his tummy was meassuring 3 weeks behind which would be 33 weeks 4 days.  He told me that was okay. Just to make sure I start eating more in the next couple weeks.  So he came to the decsion not to induce me, just wait for him to come on his own:)

And he also said he weighs like 6lbs already so hes gonna be close to a 9lber, so we will see on that!!!

And he meassured my uterus again and its still behind by three weeks.  but it did grow 1 cm, from 32 cm to 33 cm, in 4 days so thats a good sign*  But he didnt explain why its behind if all is fine.. Is it possible that he is in my back more, which would explain the back pain?

And is it possible for the scales to be off in there office, cause last week i lost a lb, then a week later I gained 4 lbs, now 4 days later there saying i lost 4 lbs.  which part of that could be because i havnt ate much in 2 days due to being sick.

Last but not least, should I worry about his tummy being behind?  Has anyone had that?  My doctor also said im gonna have a skinny baby. what does that mean?

i dont think there is anything to worry about. Especially if your doctor reassured you.... We can not reassure you any more then he can.... if thats what your asking.

From everything I read, a smaller stomach just means that your baby is going to be long and skinny, just like the doctor said. I really don't think it is much to worry about, just something to keep an eye on. My measurements were all over the place with my son, most measuring way ahead.

As for your weight, it will fluctuate more later in pregnancy. I didn't gain any weight in the last few weeks and actually lost 2 lbs.

Also, in the last month or so, the uterus doesn't grow as much and if you have dropped, it will actually measure smaller as the baby is lower.

Don't stress too much. my total weight gain was 6 lbs during my pregnancy. I got up to 12lbs and  then dropped 6 of it since it was fluid weight (I was SUPER swollen later in pregnancy) and I ate mcdonalds at least 3x a week!

my uterus measured 4-5w behind throughout my 2nd and 3rd trimester but my son was just fine. he was born at 37w5d 6lb5oz and is now HUGE at 4mo old. we have an appointment for him and I'll bet he's almost at the 20 lbs mark!! (a month ago he was 14 or 15lbs)
I carry in my back with babies. At 8 months pregnant ppl thought I was MAYBE 5 or 6 mo! I did have back pain also.

It sounds like your little man is ok and things with your body are ok too.
