aargghhh! I'm soooo confused....

Hi, I was on this forum a couple of weeks ago as I had what I thought to be implantation bleeding between days 11 to 14 of my cycle.  Unfortunately my periods then arrived 5 days early.  I'm wondering if I could have been pregnant, even for a short while as I was having spotting from day 16 through to when I got my period.  Then I had incredibly painful cramping, right through to my back and I passed a lot of clots (sorry about the TMI), both very unusual.  Also, my period is usually finished on day five but I'm on day six with no signs of slowing down.  I never got the chance to get to the doctor's for a test before my period arrived and now I don't know what to do.  My last 2 periods (the 1st and 2nd after my m/c) were completely normal every way and my cycle time was also normal.  Does anyone have any thoughts on this?  Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Thanks, babydream.... I appreciate your post and your advice.  It really sux that this is happening - the last 3 months were just awful.  And I don't want to tell people because then I feel like I'm just whinging (aussie slang for complaining too much).... sigh..... well, I guess I will just get on with it.  Do you think I should see about a d & c or leave it be and see what happens next month?  I still have cramping but the bleeding has finally stopped.  Thanks for all your help.

It sounds like it's possible that you may have had a very early mc. The heavy flow, clots, & cramps w/backache makes me think it's possible; that is how my mc was. It has been estimated that every woman will experience at least one mc in her lifetime, the majority being before they even know they're pregnant. Know that if you did, it's nothing you did wrong. Most times it is a chromosomal abnormality that is incapatible with life. I'm sorry you're having to go through all this, I know how painful it is. Best wishes to you, take care!
