Is it weird to still do skin to skin with your baby a month after they are born even if your not breast feeding?
No sometimes I still do it with my one year old. She likes to sleep belly to belly a lot
I was reading about it I didn't want to seem like a weirdo all they really say about skin to skin is when they are first born
No that's awesome! Babies need skin to skin time, especially if you aren't nursing (nursing sorry of necessitates it). You're helping baby's cognitive development!
Okay I just wasn't sure I love cuddling naked with my baby on my chest! It sooths him alot
Nope I did skin to skin for months. I didn't breast feed my first and if I was home I'd bottle feed him topless and after his umbilical cord came off I showered with him and took baths with him not all the time but like once or twice a week for months.
Well no? Its your baby. Do what makes you and baby happy :) its still a bonding thing
