hi,on march 21st,2009 my period started while at the hospital.I went to the hospital b/c of severe cramping in my lower stomach. the pain was like nothing I've ever experienced in my life I thought I had an infection but all test were negative.I was diagnosed as having dysmenorrhea. My question is should I try to get pregnant as soon as this cycle ends?
If it is Asherman's syndrome is that reversible? would I be able to conceive ?what would be the process?
yesterday I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. i'm on pins and needles, as I am trying so hard to conceive.I know I can have babies b/c I already have 4 I just want one more and i't seems as though I can't pregnant. Is the chance for me to have a baby over at 38 years old?
Hi!
Most people will get their menstrual period within 4-6 weeks following a miscarriage. If you don't start your periods. I would suggest taking another test by the end of March. Certailnly by then it should be positive if that is the reason. Another possible reason is something called Asherman's syndrome which is scarring of the lining of the uterus. One way to test for that, would be to have a person take birth control pills for an entire cycle. If there was no bleeding at the end of the package, then a hysteroscopy could be considered to check to for scarring.
Hope this is helpful!
