am i being rude?

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost four years and are expecting our first child in October. His family hasn't always been supportive of our relationship and his mother still isn't
After finding out my pregnancy though they have suddenly been acting nice to me and I don't really want anything from them seeing how they feel like I should have aborted my child when they first found out.
Am I being rude for not really wanting them involved in my pregnancy more than them just knowing my baby is healthy?

My husband was not with me when I was pregnant with our first child and his family hated me the whole 2 years we dated before I got pregnant! (Reason we didn't make it) we got back together when I was 36 weeks and his family just magically accepted me and was nice to me!

I thought it was fake of course but if you just go with it no matter what has happened in the past it will work out! My an my husbands mom hated each other and now I'm closer to her than my own mom! Which I haven't talked to since our son was born!!

As much as you don't wanna let whatever happened in the past go you really should!

We all realized it wasn't about us any more and now our son has a really good support system from his mom and dad, dads parents and my father!

Now welcoming our second baby boy!

Maybe they will/have changed their mind. It may have just been the initial reaction. If they can accept that you are keeping baby then I think they can be involved. If they are still talking about this baby in an unsupportive way then of course not.

I think you should let go of what they have or have not done to you. Allow them a fresh start no one is perfect forgive them, not for them but for you. Allow them to glow in your blessing♡
