I got the Depo shot while being on my period over a month ago. my boyfriend and i then decided since we know neither of are deceased we could stop using condoms, and since i was on the shot he could finish inside. so that happened about 2 times, one of them being barely a week after getting the shot. The next month i was about 6 days late of my period which is not normal for me but i figured it could be the shot changing my cycle because i have always had a extremely consistent 6 day period that starts usually about the 1-2 days apart from the previous months period my periods are also extremely heavy.. Finally i thought my period was here, but it was just dark brown spotting that barely filled a panty liner and deffinatly not enough for a tampon. this has been going on for about a week and a half now and i need answers!!!!!!

While I was on depo I did not have a period at all. Then after coming off it took 9 months to get it back.

I hear that's common with depo but yu can take a test to be sure
