very nervous! never been induced

like i posted a while ago i will be induced the 20th...
but im nervous and really dont know will happen ... how it goes.... whats the complications... my doctor will be till the 19th..... n im not comfy with her partner (the other doctor) yeah it stinks cuz his a guy.... n since i dont feel comfy im not comfy at asking all these
......

But y are they trying to induce you before 40 wks??? Bc I'm 39 wks n 5 days. They shouldn't have to induce you that early unless you're nt progressing after the due date I thought.

Yea the weird thing is I've been 75-80% effaced but not much progression past it for at least a wk or 2 now:/ but my Dr confused me bc she made it sound like I like stopped effacing n nowhere near dialation bc my baby is apparently not low enough to cause dialation. So I'm walking a lot to try n speed it up. My mom said the gravity wen you walk a lot should help speed it up. Here goes hoping!! *fingers crossed* maybe you might wanna try walking if you haven't already. Do it like everyday if you decide to start walking more often.

oohhh tell me about it..... i told my doctor not to go n leave me hanging she just laughed n said that most likely bby wont be born im 0 dilated n not enffaced sooo hope shes right n hope she gets here the 19th when i go into the hospital

Omg that's the same exact situation I'm in except mine could be on the 19th instead of the 20th if I dnt have my baby before then. N I'm nt comfortable with my drs partner either which happen to be a guy. So you're not alone!! I feel ya

right now im 37 weeks and two days .....
but i will be 39 weeks and 2 days....
my babys due date was the 24th but doctor decided to induce the 20th my uterus dosent give her much room to grow... so this is the safest way to go... n this is my third bby
