anised seeds tea?

My baby barely sleeps and cries alot. Many friends told me to give me anised seeds tea? Has anyine try this? He's 6 weeks old.

What kind of bottles are you using? Have you tried Dr. Brown's bottles? If not they work pretty good!

Did you try holding your baby on his stomach ?

I was very stubborn because the doc told me to not give anything to my baby anything other than milk until she is 4 months and she was having the same problem and my mom made me give it to her and I don't give her more. Than 2 ounces a day I gave it to her when she was almost 2 weeks old and still do she is 5 weeks now and she handles it pretty well no problems at all bit she does burp faster and doesn't cry to much I give it to he in small quatties .., when I go out and she cries I Hive her that because until I give her formula ... And I do both breastfeeding and formula

Sometimes babies need held more or less. Baby wearing can help him be close to you while you still have a free hand. Colic is normal at this age. I'd just call the pediatrician before you give him anything.

He's formula fed. I even change his formula to ghe enfamil gentleease can. Also gave him gripe water and gas drops nothing seems to help

Breastfed or formula fed? Could be colic either way. Have you tried using a colic hold? Baby wearing? I wouldn't give your baby anything but milk (breast or formula) unless your pediatrician recommends it.
