announcing baby name?

How many of you are keeping your baby's name a secret til he or she is born? I want to keep mine quiet til he's here but everyone says I'm being selfish and its immature for me to not tell.

I'm waiting to name my baby until after she is born. We have names we like but we are not picking any until we get to touch, hold, hear and smell our little one. You do what you want, it's other people that are being selfish and immature by trying to make you feel guilty for a decision you've made!

We tell everyone but the middle name is a secret. We don't care if they want to know right now or not. Its your choice. I say jeep it a secret. People just get upset when they can't know everything.

We only told once we knew the sex, and our other potential names are secrets! People are much less judgemental if you know the sex and it's for su re the baby name :)

I actually kept mine a secret until we revealed the gender. It was a big reveal because all our friends and my husband family wanted to know and they kept asking.

Personally I wouldn't name until baby is born and healthy ... but that's just me.
