i plan on using Donald or Woodrow for the middle name of baby b....it is truly to honor my grandfather who was a big part of my life when i was growing up
im just going to stick to my guns and reinforce that baby a is the names he wanted and his side of the family, baby b is for me to name and honor my family....these are our last babies so i need to have say in one of the names and they are both starting to sit well with me
I was going to suggest Izaak (or Isaac) Alexander....
Just an idea in case hubby doesn't like Nathaniel Donald :) I think Nicolas Reed and Isaac Alexander sound awesome together.
LOL....i think i got the names :)
Nicolas Reed and Nathaniel Donald
Baby A is purely after my husband and Baby is after my family (my grandfathers name is Donald)
i just hope hubby agrees and this naming roller coaster is over
What about Bradley, then Brad for short?! So many names, so little time! haha
my biological fathers name is daniel and we are not that close so danny is out
my husband has an uncle nathan so nathan is out
chris is out due to past relationships
a good friend of mine with twins is named jacob so jacob is out too
the naming game should be renamed to the "neverending" name this baby b game
What about Nathan? Nick names would be Nick and Nate.
Nick and Jack goes well. how about Daniel. Nick and Danny.
Nick and Jabob , Nicholas n Christopehr Nick n Chris. all nice names.
Have you thought about waiting untill birth to see his face and then maybe a name will come to you? I know it sounds hard and I know I wouldn't be able to wait lol. But its an idea
I liked the nick and alex but like u said it reminds me of the twins on full house too lol :) but its cute.
I like the name chris
sorry SHE said, not HE said^
LOL...hey you're better than us. I keep suggesting names for this baby and my husband keeps nixing them all. My husband's grandmother told him if he doesn't have any alternatives that he can just shut his mouth, LOL. he said "at least she's trying Josh if you can't come up with any suggestions then keep your mouth closed"
I keep bouncing between Lea (lee-uh) or Lyanna (lee-ah-nuh or lie-ah-nuh) for a girl and I have no idea for a boy...I really like the name Rylan still, and I love the name Ronan...but hubby keeps nixing them.
maybe jaxson???
hmmm....i think you are all right....i should find a longer name that can be shortened
well that narrrows my list down to only a little over a 100 now......LOL
my husband is so picky when it comes to naming any babies
he told me last preg our daughter was going to be named mary jane....i freaked out until i was in labor and he said how about emilee....i chose the spelling and loved the name....hope he's pulling my leg again because this is no fun
What about Jackson??
Nick and Jack!! Sounds cute!!
Since Nicholas has a short form, I think you should pick another name that could be shortened down too!
Sorry I didn't say it but I implied...all the names that I put up there ^ are traditional german names.
I think Nicolas and Burke sounds good...or Nicolas and Christoph
Aiden, Emilee, Nicolas, and Burke...Aiden, Emilee, Nicolas, and Christoph...eh, not so much Christoph.
Aiden, Emilee, Nicolas, and Leon? lots of vowels, Ter ;-)
poor baby B.....im surprised i even agree on the name for baby A....LOL
i have some time yet
my sons name is Aiden Michael
my daughter is Emilee Mary
Baby A will be Nicolas Reed
Baby B ......................... what goes with the rest of the names??
i have a thing for names with lots of vowels if you cant see that :)
Names that I like that are unusual are:
Adrik
Alaric
Cade
Liam
Chayce
Avery
Emersyn
Rylan
Good luck on naming baby b!
I looked at german names briefly because we have a lot of german blood on both sides of the family...but i eventually decided they mostly weren't for me. a few I like though
Aldric,
Bernhardt
Burke (I like that one)
Christoph (would go well with Nicolas)
Erich
hahahaha I came across Fritz and Fester...YEAH those are NAMES!! (totally sarcastic btw LOL)
Izaak
Kurt
Konrad
Leon
Lukas
Mathis
Stefan
Theodor
Wilhelm
Wolfram
Xaver
hehe....that reminds of full house and the twin boys
niki and alex :)
my grandmother mentioned a good old fashioned german name would be good....but what name would fit that category?
Nicolas Reed and ????????
OOOH I like Alexander. I hadn't thought of that "Nick and Alex" that has a nice ring.
Nicholas and Alexander? I like the idea of having two longer names that lend themselves to nicknames, like the ones GA suggested.
Hmmm, I think Nick and Ryan sound good together.
Nicolas and Jacob (Nick and Jake)
Nicolas and Lucas (Nick and Luke)
uhm, I suck at baby names lol!
