baby shower?

Do you have to have games and stuff at your shower, or can it be just a "come eat, chill, and chitchat" type of thing. I'm not really the "ok, it's time to play this game" type of person.

Lol Ive never really had games at any of mine except for my first. Otherwise its just been a chitchat thing with lil food and a cake lol

I'm not having games or anything. I just told people that it's going to be like an open house, they can come anytime between 1 and 4 and leave whenever they want. I personally don't like games so it's just going to be a come as you want and have a bite to eat type deal.

You can do whatever you want, its your shower! Usually the older generations like to do games, because its like a tradition.

haha I've always been a real mellow person, so I just can't do the whole game thing. I like the open house thing though!

I know, and I'm still really really shy about being pregnant...like I don't like people asking me personal questions about me and his dad who is completely out of the picture so I just know stuff like that is going to come up. I'm not even wanting a shower because of the attention thing, but my mom and grandma is adamant.

I'm the same way! Haha I feel super uneasy around my parents/grandparents because now they know I have sex. Haha I know, super immature but it makes me feel so awkward even though I'm married and everything.

Lol I know. having my 96 year old great-Grandma at my shower is sure to be awkward.

I had games at mine and had to open presents in front of everyone. My mom planned everything so that's how she set it up. I'm really shy and most of te people my mom invited were family friends and people I'm not around to often. But my aunt had her shower last year and she just had food and people talked and she opened presents.
