accidentally swallowed a hair
i'm 21yrs old girl. i accidentally swallowed a hair of medium length(6 to 7inch long) which was mixed up with my food. does it cause any problem or will be excreated out? pls help me...

i dont understand why this would worry you? people swallow things all the time that aren't food and are just fine.

It should be passed ok...After all the churning in your stomache(if the stomach acid hasnt eroded it) it will be bunched up likely and pass, My daughter (10 months) just passed on of my hairs which was probably 11'' in length. She is fine.
