back labor?

What does it mean when women say, their labor was back labor?

I've had mild back contractions for 3 weeks now. Thats what my dr said at least. They freaking suck. Basically your back just hurts reaaaallllly bad. I feel almost no pain in the front, although I do feel tightness in my belly when the back pain is at its strongest. Then it eases off. I'm hoping something happens to make it to where I don't have back labor. But it looks like I may have to endure it here soon. I'm 38 weeks.

Pretty much with every contraction I had in my back I couldn't move because I felt paralyzed from the pain. So pretty much imagine the worst back pain ever.

It's very bad I had it and before I even passed 3 cm dilated I was in so much pain next thing I know they put in the epidural and it was all good.. I don't remember most of the labor but the pushing and after that

As far as what I have got from what I hear its contractions in your back rather than normal? Im not 100% sure im a ftm. But I heard it really stinks and you have intense back pain the whole time.
