bad back pain only 17 weeks preg

i know your supposed to sleep on your left side but what if im more comfortable on my back? my back has been killing me and i have to use two pillows under my back just to get comfortable. anyone have suggustions to ease up the back pain? im only 17 weeks preg.

I never heard of having to sleep on your left side. I have had 3 kids and sleeping on my side was best for me. When you sleep on your back it puts pressure on your tummy and gives the baby less room to move. I agree about the pillow. Put it in between your legs and maybe even have another one to hold if you dont want to get a big pillow. My youngest is 4 and I still sleep like that,lol

Yeah the pillow is a must but you don't need to go super expensive i'm like 5ft so most pregnancy pillows are too large for me try a body pillow or just a long/large pilllow works awsome

It's better to sleep on your left side. Try getting pregnancy pillow. I still sleep on my stomach and my back hurts but sometimes I just can't get comfy on my side.
