bathing suit debateee

How do you guys feel about pregnant girls in bikinis? Trying to decide if i should rock a one piece until after baby is born or if i should say screw it n still get a bikini lol Honest opinions please! I'm due in the middle of May and live in florida so its pretty much beach weather in february lol My mom and grandma both think its "disgusting" to see a pregnant belly, i get ridiculed for lifting my shirt to show people and I'm only 23 weeks right now...so i can only imagine when I'm 30+ weeks in a bathing suit because "who would want to see someones belly like that and why would you want people to see it?"

I'm so jealous that you guys are going to the beaches, its like -10 degrees here and my nose freezes if I step outside :-(  Wisconsin will not have warm beaches until AT LEAST June if not July, the air will warm before then but the lake water is ice cold! But I will definitely have fun at the water park in the mean time haha

FLAUNT THAT BEAUTIFUL BELLY. don't ever let anyone make you feel like it's anything less that beautiful. no offense to mom and grandmom but they can shove it where the sun don't shine. That's just terrible that they tell you that. I'm barely showing but there is no way I'm hiding my belly. I live in the Tampa bay area so i know it's practically beach weather now and i can't wait to show off my belly at the beach. Everyone who has a problem and thinks it's ugly can shove it where the sun don't shine too. If i ever see a pregnant lady in a bikini, i tell her "RIGHT ON!" Never be ashamed of that belly mama!

Bahaha Acline you made me literally lol...i heard that in my grandmas voice!
And 2nd time, i didn't even think about my future stretch marks getting scarred up! Thanks for reminding me! That could have been bad lol...and i don't live with my family so I'm not too worried about it, just sick of hearing it! Our bumps are beautiful :)

I say rock the belly bump (but I'm from So Cal)!  ;) pregnancy is the only time we ladies are applauded for gaining weight. If your mom and grandma are going to make you feel bad, look for a tankini...but be sure to slather on the sunscreen, because there's something about preggo skin that will make you burn MUCH quicker than before. And if you have any stretch marks, the scars will take forever to go away...

Have fun!

If your comfortable with it I say do it, who cares what people think. I'd rock a bikini during summer, I think pregnancy is a beautiful thing and anyone that thinks its gross to show off your belly is immature. Why is it acceptable to where close to nothing but not a bikini when your pregnant. Its a natural process and some people are ignorant when it comes to pregnancy.  Just my thoughts :)

Wear whatever makes you feel good!! Seriously why even be concerned with what other people think?? Yeah people might look & stare but it might just be awe & curiousity~

I am super comfortable with my body and I'm extremely blessed to have this baby in me so i don't mind showing him off! I just wanted to see how you ladies felt about it...most of the summer ill prob be at the local river instead of the beach anyway, its closer to home...and the hospital lol

Id say, wear whatever you feel comfortable in. For me, my torso is so long i cannot find a one piece that fits (or my boobs hang out or i have a major camel toe). But, im the same as your mom & gma, not so much with other ppl but myself. Im 37+3 and not that big really  but when ur lookin down it alway seems bigger. I have a  tankini. my belly shows but not even a quarter as much as the string bikini from before.

Get that bump out... the only time im comfortable showing my belly is when im pregnant... you are proud of your baby so shouldnt be ashamed to show of your bump.. id rather see loads of women in bikinis with massive bumps then just loads of skinny girls trying to be sexy.. And an all in one mite be to tight in your belly all day and make you uncomfy... if bumps out then you feel free and loose... GET THE BIKINI! STRUT THAT BUMP!
