bathing

Is it true its not good to Bath when you far in pregnancy? If so how far and why (FtM)

I have a warm bath every night :) very soothing and relaxing...just make sure it isn't really hot

If your dialated you can have baths without bubbles. And it has to be lukewarm water(room temp) but i always have hot showers and my doctor said hot showers are fine just cant have a hot bath

It is not considered safe to raise your body temperature to more than 104 degrees when pregnant.  This is why pregnant women are told not to use hot tubs.  It can (supposedly) affect the baby's development to be really hot for a while.  You could ask your doctor what he or she thinks.  I've heard that regular baths are not as dangerous because much of the body is sticking out (unlike a hot tub) and the water cools rather rapidly (unlike a hot tub which keeps the water hot).

Its safe to bath till upto the day you give birth unless your water is leaking then only showers because you can introduc bacteria...its actually really good to have baths at the end ittl help relax and speed up labour. I loved my baths and had one the day i gave birth to my baby boy
