I had to do it when I was pregnant with my first son. And today I wasn't going to but I commented on my cousins Facebook status and someone told me to put on a safty pin so I did it just to do it,  it cant hurt anything or anyone. I have 11 days to my due date.  Was wondering if the full moon would cause labor I have been having contractions but nothing consistent.

A full moon does gives off a different gravitational pull on the earth, but I'm not certain if that could play a factor into causing labor.

I'm Mexican and my family and bfs family all told me either a key or safety pin next to the belly tonight I was like what why that's superstitious but I figured why argue over it it wasn't gonna hurt me any so I just put a safety pin on it actually felt cute doing something only pregnant women do especially since I'm almost due and won't get to do it anymore and no for those who don't believe just don't do it! Don't be little other ppl about it to each their own no we don't expect for everybody who didn't wear a safety pin to wake up tire n their children have cleft lip but if I want to put a safety pin on my belly or wear red undies how does it affect you? Unless you paid for my red underwear don't tell me when to put it on

I went out without anything red or safety pin or a key and karma bit me in the butt...I slipped due to a puddle and fell trying to take a picture...my butt hurts so bad! I went back inside and put on my moms red shirt lol! Needless to say...it was freezing! But worth it! Im 38 weeks and 3 days

its a fact that hospitals will staff more employees on a full moon because its a busier time for the er and labor n delivery. Im a caregiver and take care of Alzheimer's and dementia clients and I know for a fact that the full moon causes crazy behavior ive had clients who are normally calm act crazy and its always when there's a full moon. So I do believe a full moon can bring on labor and crazy things to happen.

I wasn't denying the statement of it bringing labor.
I work in a forensic facility with men who have devepemental issues, and the full moon kindof plays a factor in the increased number of restraints we perform. So I know what you're talking about.
