My doc had me take mine out at 18 weeks but the were getting uncomfortable ..but i had 4 piercing in my navel.

I took my belly button ring out shitttt I'd say almost 6 years ago when I got pregnant with my daughter, I've had another baby without ever putting anything in and it's still opened up! I was finally about to go get it completely redone and booom baby #3.

Yes I believe they make you take off all your piercings off for birth just in case! But ask your hospital or ob. I took my belly ring out when I first started to show it was getting uncomfortable... I was about 18weeks... Good thing to cause my belly bottom has long popped out... But it's still open I'm 33w 4d.

I'll be 32 weeks on Sunday and I still have a regular one in. My midwife said that I don't have to take it out til it gets uncomfortable and then I can put a maternity belly button ring in after.

My normal bar started to hurt so I put a maternity one in and it's been fine :)

I had my belly button pierced on the top and bottom but unfortunately I had to take them out because my belly button is popping out now thankfully both holes are still open though lol.

Whenever it gets uncomfortable.  It will have to be out for delivery,  but they do make pregnancy bb rings
