bfp then bfn

i am 13 dpo. i did a test yesterday, which was a faint positive, but it wasnt immediate. i threw it away and i went back to recheck and saw a definite pink line (showed it to hubby too). i did another test today afternoon (urine was quite diluted, sorry tmi) and it came out negative. i am going nuts now. could i still be pregnant? (i have a regular 28 day cycle)

Went for a transvaginal yest. its not ectopic, which my doc said could be a reaon for low count. whew. sac is not visible but endometrium is thick so doc said it may just be too early for sac to be visible.
gotta wait and get another u/s 10 days later. u how far along?

It depends -you could have ovulated later or the little one implanted a little later - no worries until you get your second number... post that and we can look at some information - it should double every 24 or 48 hours.. (ladies, help me out) I am having baby brain and forget the exact informatio... but at work I have the website saved with the ranges for each week.... I will post that when I get in... fingers crossed.

Thanks guys :-).. Got my blood drawn yesterday. Will get results tomorrow. I have been having af-type cramps and mild, intermittent ache in left pelvis. Is that normal?

The faintness is due to it being early in the pregnancy... I would say def schedule an appt with your doctor to confirm! Congrats!

This time i did nt throw them away. i just held them. they were two diff brands and lines appeared in both- but sooo faint in both. I am expecting my period today/tomorrow. Will go on tuesday to the doc if period doesnt appear. i want to be excited but the faintness is puzzling me.

If I were you I would just purchase the digital test, that tells you with words, and not the silly line thing!!

Try not to worry and test again with first morning urine. At early times, you really need the hcg to be more concentrated.

Hope it's still a bfp!

I have always known that HCG levels are higher in the morning, so that might be the best time to retest. Also if you don't want to waste money on testing, just go to the doctor and get blood drawn to check your levels. You will then get a definite answer!!!! Good Luck
