The doc said for sure that she will come early, maybe even oct...she is over 3lbs and extra long, I thought that it was more of me gaining weight but he said that over the whole preg Ive lost 13lbs and havent gained anything, I
was concerned but he said since baby is growing well its ok not to gain any weight. Plus I was already carrying extra weight so I guess I was trying to even out...I dont know. But wow she is big!
Anyone else's doc change their due date or say their baby is coming early?
Going by original due date this should be 29 weeks but my doc said measured 31 weeks

My baby is a big baby because I have gestational diabetes, and that causes them to put on extra weight. My Dr said if he doesn't come early then they will induce me 2weeks or so early. In total I have only gained 4kilos and most of that is all baby.
I didn't have my edd changed but I measured a couple weeks ahead of what I was suppose to be my whole pregnancy. My dr told me he thought i'd have my baby anywhere between 35 and 38 weeks.. Nope, he decided to wait. I don't think my boy would have ever come out on his own. I was induced at 3 days over and he was 9lbs 7oz. I think he got too big and just didn't wanna come out. Lol.
I really need her to wait! lol Im def not hoping for her to come I NEED to work a while! So that helps!!
With all 3 of my pregnancies, no-one expected me to reach my due dates. All 3 babies were late and had to be evicted with cervical sweeps getting labour started for me. Dont get your hopes up too high for an early arrival, it might not happen.
Try not to listen to that whole "early thing". I heard that for 1/2 of my pregnancy. "Oh you're not going to make it to your due date with the summer heat and being its your 3rd pregnancy and you are so big." guess what, it's my due date and there still it's a baby. Don't spend your time thinking about early. You may just get very discouraged in the end.
It just scares me a little because i planned on working till nov and that might not happen...i will know a little more at the next appt hopefully it will calm my nevers a bit.
Yes my doctor said I would be having him early based on position and all around 32 weeks I was due on Thursday and still no baby and they will not induce until 41 weeks which is this Thursday coming up. Really babies come when they are ready. I would be prepared around 33 weeks just in case.
