birth story <3

I'm pretty late on writing this but I really wanted to because this site was a big help to my pregnancy. I was induced on July 2nd went in at night and got to know my nurse got undressed and situated in my bed. The nurse hooked my I've,blood pressure taker, and fetal heart monitor. The contractions were like period cramps and at first honestly not bad it was bearable and if I could've moved around in the hospital I could've done the whole thing naturally! But I couldn't move or they'd loose the heartbeat on the monitor :-/ well about 7 am on the 3rd my Dr broke my water which I was very scared of but didn't feel a thing besides a massive amount of water lol well I waited and waited when I got about 6 cm omg I couldn't handle it I couldn't move to get comfortable so I had the epidural...which I was absolutely terrified of. But literally felt no worse than a shot. Well it almost immediately helped and I got all numb feeling but what people don't tell you is you still feel and can still move lol just not like normal. I got a catheter so I didn't have to get up and I didn't even feel her put it in! But as the time went on about 1pm it wore off as the bag ran out of "juice" lol I begged for another but the stupid anesthesia guy hooked it up wrong so I started feeling my contractions back to back worst part ever but I soon got some meds to help. After all that pain my blood pressure and heart rate increased so they gave me some oxygen. All the medicine started to wear off but I was about ready to push so it wasn't that big of a deal. FINALLY after 20 hours I pushed and lord it felt great it was a big relief  of the contractions hurting. I pushed for 10 min and there she came :-) my beautiful 7lb12oz 20 inches long baby! Head full of dark hair and the bluest eyes.. Dr pushed the placenta out and stitched me up (he cut me I didn't tear) but I didn't even feel anything. Labor is really no where near as scary as you expect ladies! The pain is immediately relieved once you have the baby...and I strongly recommend breastfeeding. My baby is do big and healthy she's grown so fast and I haven't had one problem from her. She even sleeps through the night! Anyways I'll stop there I wish u mommies the best:-)
