c-section help (postpartum)

I know this is the wrong section and I apologize but my dovs office is closed until tomorrow morning so she won't get back to me until then. I've been having chills on and off since today in the morning. The chills feel like the kind you get when you have a fever but I don't have a fever. I just had a c-section Monday and I got a spinal block then got ddischarged Wednesday and never had any problems until today. Should I go to urgent care or may this be a side effect? I thought maybe another csection momma may know more than i do. Thank you in advance!

After surgery they worry about circulation problems.  If you are swollen especially in legs and feet go in.  I'm sure you are ok and could wait for morning but if you feel like something is wrong go in! Better safe than sorry especially after a major surgery! I have had 2 csections. I did have chills after both surgeries n when I asked about it they put long stockings n warm heated blankets on me.  To keep blood circulation good. Best of luck, and congrats on the baby!  Keep us updated on your condition:)

I had the same thing 6 days after I had my baby by csection. I think I got it after drinking something cold though. Avoid anything cold and wear socks. That was the only problem I had with the csection too. My sister also got chills after she took a shower a couple days after her csection. If it gets worse or your too concerned you should go to urgent care.
