can you be pregnant and on you period?

I am not on the pill or on any pregnancy prevention plan but I got nauseous and vomited twice now after waking up.the first time I vomited about 3 days ago  I was not yet on my period but now I am and it happened again today. Could my body be thinking it's pregnant but really not!? I took a test about a week ago because my period was also late by a week but it came out negative.i also been getting the hot and cold feeling but I don't feel sick except when I vomited. The thing is I already have a little boy and the symptoms do feel similar but the pregnancy test is still negative. I am so confused:(

Some women can still have periods while pregnant . And alot can get neg hpt . I got some neg with my first and get blood work done . My mom did know she was pregnant with me till she was bout 6-7 months along cause she had her periods every month and had no signs of being pregnant ! Good luck tho . Get blood work done .

You should call your Dr and have a blood test done. Its possible. And some women never get positive hpts and need blood tests done.

It sounds as if your not because of the negative hpt- I would say take another. The symptoms ciuld just be menstrual related, but then again I watch I didnt know I was pregnant everyday!lol Those ladies had the same situations & because of the negative hpt & what they thought were periods, didn't believe they were pregnant until it was too late.lol
Not saying that's you, just a laugh. Try a blood test. ☺
