cervix check

I'm 34 weeks and I know I'm getting close to getting my cervix checked. Anyone know at what week they check and if it hurts? I'm really worried about it.

You can ask your doctor now but after 35 weeks your doctor should be asking you if you want him to check because it's totally up to you

Just had mine done today cuz of a little scare. Went to the ER with some blood coming out. I'm 32 weeks. It was slightly uncomfortable and Whatever she used as lube stung my the walls of my vagina. That hurt worse than her probing around.

Most doctors start checking at 36 weeks. The pain depends on who does it. My doctor didn't hurt me but the nurse in the hospital did.
