prenatal pills

Is it just me or do prenatal pills make any one else feel almost sick it's like I want to throw up and feel dizzy every single time

I can't take the pill form of prenatals specifically because they are PACKED with IRON and my body has pretty good iron levels plus I cook with cast iron and it turns out I was getting iron poisoning from the pills so I take the gummie prenatals because they don't really have any iron in them.

First prenatals i was put on caused me to get super constipated and felt sick. My dr just recommended switching prenatals. I tried the gummies but some said they didnt work as well so i went to some walmart pills. The box is a blue type of color and is made by similac i think its like 10. I have a very sensitive stomach when it comes to vitamins or medicine hope this helps!

My vitamins made me feel sick too. My doctor actually recommended I take 2 Flintstones vitamins to see if I'd tolerate it better and I did but this pregnancy I'm back on my One a Day prenatals. I also couldn't stand water and it would make me vomit as well :p so having to swallow pills was a dreadful part of my daily routine. This pregnancy has been a lot easier tho.

I cant take them i started taking them before i got pregnant and i felt fine but once i got pregnant they made me sick i couldnt keep any food down so i stopped taking them

I would feel that way if i took them on a empty stomach,

I use the gummy multivitamin cuz the actual prenatal vitamins make me really sick and I cant keep them down..they still have the same percentages and vitamins as the prenatals and they dont taste terrible nor do you have to try and choke down a huge horse pill..lol

I've actually never eaten before or after taking prenatal I always take them with an empty stomach I feel kind of silly now I think the that's why it never occurred to me

Yes I was that way when I first found out I was pregnant I start taking them right before bed and it doesn't make me sick at all so try taking them before bed I'm 17weeks and I haven't been sick with them at all since I started taking them before bed hope it helps you too
