Im making my baby first blanket. How many people is making their babies something and what is it?

Lol im not very good at that kind of stuff...i tought myself how to knit, but can only go in a straight line, so i made my son a scarf to wear when he got to be a toddler...he ll wear it this winter, and once we know gender ill make this baby one. I made my son his christmas stocking (sewn, not knitted) and sinve this baby will be here beginning of Nov. Ill make one for this babe too.

My mom and I have been doing a quilt for my baby. We bought fabric and batting and all that kind of stuff to make it with :) I love how special it will feel :) we've been sewing stars on it as a pattern and it looks so cute.

I know how to crochet but I just don't anymore lol... Both of my grandparents made blankets (one knitted one crochet) and my hubbys mom made one as well :) as well as a friend from work did one. Lol so there is no shortage of home made stuff
