Being on insulin 3 times a day and then checking my blood sugar four times a day, it's kind of hard to overeat or eat anything that would raise my blood sugar. I eat a lot of fruits, vegetables and chicken. Some nuts, too. I drink A LOT of water throughout the day. I've done very good. I've only gained 6 lbs and I'm 28 weeks already. Hopefully, you'll be okay and not need insulin but if you do, it's not as bad as it sounds. I would do whatever I have to do to make sure my baby is born healthy and strong.

They said i might be able to control it thru my diet and won't need insulin so maybe they won't induce me early but he is already so big iv got another scan on Tuesday to check on him I just hope he's not got to much bigger, what sort of things do you eat x

Yes, I am getting induced any time between 35-38 weeks.  It depends on how the baby is developing, her size and my blood pressure.

Hi. I was diabetic before I became pregnant. I am now 28 weeks pregnant. This  is my first pregnancy. I am  on insulin right now. My baby is measuring in the average range right now. I just saw the perinatologist yesterday and  had an ultrasound. She is weighing 2 lbs 5 oz right now. I also have high blood pressure (since before pregnancy also) and am on medication. I will answer any question you have :)
