I'm 37 weeks and ready for my little guy to be here :) ppl tell me sex helps... but I'm not sure cause my fiancee is scared to have sex... but wasn't when I was pre go with my daughter....

Lol. Both my babies came the day I wanted from pretty rough doggy style.lol my daughter was born 7 hrs later. My son (biggg boy) was 14 hrs later. Drs don't check you until a certain gestation because touching your cervix can make you dilate some. He reallllly has to get up the. Lol Good luck! And id wait till 38 weeks. Both my babies were born 13 days before their due date.

At 38wks 2dys with my daughter my doc swiped the membranes Idk if ur doc will but I had her @38wks 3dys and I already told him with daughter #2 he will be doing it again!

Has baby dropped? Could be why it feels so hard to breath not that it will completely go away. And if doc could feel head but ur not dilated sounds like ur effaced pretty far which will help for dilating

Semen contains prostoglandans that can cause uterine contractions. If your cervix is dilated and your body is ready then sex can help start labor. If your body isn't ready then it won't do anything. Walking is supposed to help.

Lol thanks ladies and we do it doggie style most the time cause other ways take my breath... Im on my feet all the time at work I even walk through contractions... but when I got checked last I got told I wasn't dilated but he could feel his head???

It is actually female *** that softens the cervix not his, so you dont even need to rely on him if he isn't doing the job. Goodluck

If that's what your doctor told you then I respect your choice to share the information. Everything I have read says that 38 weeks is considered term. 85% of babies are born within 2 weeks of the due date, which means between 38 and 42 weeks and these babies are generally healthy. I didn't mean to offend anyone. There is a lot of misinformation spread all over the internet. Hope all is well with your pregnancy. Again, sorry if I offended you.

i was 1cm and started having contractions went to the hospital was told to go home had sex even though i was contracting bad then a hr later went back to the hospital i was 4 cm lol...success story for me i was 38 weeks had a 7lb 8oz boy...plus getting a deep massage on my feet helped...it's YouTube videos that will show you how to stimulate points in your feet and ankles to help labor

Im 40wks and we have had sex religiously every day several times. Baby will come whrn its time you cant force it. Trust me. Ive had contractions timeable since I lost my plug at 35+4 and ive been dilated to a 3 for a while.

My doc told me after turning 37 weeks start walking and i mean power walk it works i tried it with both my kids.

Of worked for me. Sounds bad but  do it doggie style hahah I did that 3 times one day and bam back labor started haha

Sex can help but there is no miracle induction thing to try unless a doctor hooks u up to pitocin and even then not a 100% every time

Lungs are fully developed and functional at 37-38 weeks, the brain develops throughout childhood and adolescence. The last weeks of pregnancy are most important for weight gain. The larger baby is when it's born, the healthier it will be. I agree ladies shouldn't try to have them early for personal comfort, but that doesn't mean we need to spread misinformation.

Your baby will come when there ready nothing actual works its just when your body is ready u only have 3 more 3 weeks n the last few weeks are big for lung n brain development don't rush it Hun your almost there
