dry mouth during pregnancy

Is dry mouth and headaches during pregnancy normal??? I have been experiencing this im oly 5 weeks pregnant and I get headaches not all the time but I have been getting them pretty often but it mostly worry me my dryness I feel thisty all the time and my mouth sooo dry is this normal during pregnancy???

My doctor said that i should take my weight (140) and divide it by 2 (70) and thats how many oz. Of water i should be drinking.. Which is around 10 cups.. And for every 12oz of pop i drink, i was told to drink an extra 24oz of water on top of that. Idk if thats just my doctor nit it seems to keep me
hydrated.

Yes it's normal. Just make sure you're drinking enough water. Low water in take might be what causes the headache.

i have the samething.. im 20 wks i drink 64 oz of water every day and try to keep hydrated all the time.. what i've heard is that some women have extra saliva due to  hormones but then others have the opposite affect due to hormones which is dry mouth.. or something like that. but no matter what just keep chugging that water bottle ;)

Its definitely not something to worry about
Headaches are very common during pregnancy!  Its from ur hormones. Sorry to tell ya but this is only the beginning of the rollercoaster ride. Start making a list of ur concerns and discuss them with ur dr at ur 1st apt. Good luck and congratulations

I don't kno if its normal but I'm 10 weeks and have the same thing no matter how much I drink my mouth still feels dry it started around the 6th week for me... headaches are normal during pregnancy from what my ob tells me she says just drink lots of water about 64oz a day she said its mostly because of dehydration u can take tylenol but just not alot good luck I hope it gets better for u :-)
