Some girl told me to eat a whole pineapple and walk alot so it could help me dilate, I'm wondering if it really works?

I walked in the sand it was very heavy but i dialated to 5 and went into labor the next day

My midwife said its only the core that helps and the easiest way to eat it is to juice the core

It's any part of it and you don't have to eat a full one just what you can manage it's something to do with ph levels I think I tried it I get tightening not much else

Im past my due date I havent been dilating at all, I wanna try it cause I don't wanna be past 41wks and get induced :/ so hopefully that helps

I want to try this too I'm due in 3 days I'm 3 cm dilated but I have no signs of labor like contractions
