Is it okay to.dye my hair still.or will the chemicals be harmful? I'm about 6 weeks right now.

it's safe they just don't like when you do because of the smell. There is a test ou can do to test the color first. But as long as you are in a ventelated area you fine! Baby won't be harmed at all. My hairdresser dyed her hair so many times while pregnant with her daughter peoplee told her that her daughter was going to turn Violet: That's her daughters name, lol. But yes, you're fine! They even have natual dyes at Sallys and WalMart if that makes you feel any better. And to test the color put a strip of color on your arm and a dot behid your ear if it doesn't change to a color that it's not supposted to be, then your hair won't come out green or something crazy, lol. Also I wouldn't recomend bleaching or stripping your hair while pregnbant. My hairdresser refuses to with anyone who is pregnant. Only because the chemicals in those two are a lot stronger and you can never tell how that's going to change your hair color.

Dying your hair is fine. There are no conclusive studies proving it causes harm. If you're worried then don't rub the dye into the scalp and avoid getting it on your skin as much as possible. Dyes are much safer these days. A lot of people are more concerned about bleaching your hair. Most women wait until the 2nd trimester for that and do it in a well ventilated area or next to an open window just to be safe but again should be fine. If you wantto die your hair, go for it. And just to be extra cautious find a dye that doesn't have a lot of chemicals. Something more natural. I dye my hair on a regular basis. I can't stand when it fades or I get bored of it and every doctor has told me its fine.

I always heard just no bleach. and its only bad if your breathing it in so have someone do it for you somewhere with windows open and fans going I would say.  But they do make dye just for pregnant women.
