Thank you for the information.
They weren't trying to scare me.. He needed the heart surgery. He was too young so we wanted to wait a few more weeks to ensure recovery. My son passed away at 29 days old. he had a heart attack at home. Could have been prevented if he'd received the surgery sooner.
My sister was born with and still has a heart murmur... she is now 21 and has had no surgeries... people who are saying he will HAVE TO have surgery are trying to scare u
FIf it's serious, he will have to go under surgery eventually. Probably before 6 months. My son had to have an unexpected surgery at a month old. It was an emergency. They open the valve with something called a balloning. Basically EXPANDS the walls of the valve go allow proper blood flow. If that doesn't work they do another surgery that basically removed the valve and replace it with an animals valve. (I know.....) And it usually just affects males because they tend to over stress more. If you're stressed during your pregnancy and you don't know your baby has this condition, it can really be affecting him. Little girls can still get it but the risk is a lot less likely to happen. I'm not sure on the ratio
Thank you for the heads up
Whay can they do if they have it?
