for people who...

For the people who say childbirth hurts and for the people who are scared that it will hurt... IT WONT! unless you decide to go all superwoman and have the baby naturally lol! I gave birth feb 12 2012 and I got an epidural, it was a breeeeeeze! No pains no worries after the epidural wore off I had a little bit of pressure on my butt (normal) and it stung very little when I peed. Its nothing to be scared about and in my opinion child birth is something that EVERY woman should experience at least once in her lifetime :) for it is an amazinh experience!

I got an epidural and im thankful that I did bc I was stressing my baby out bc my contractions were soo painful and I wasnt dilating at first the epidural wasnt working and I could feel the contractions that were happening back to back but once they up my dose I fell asleep and later I went frok being 2cm dilated to 10cm!!! Bc my body was relaxed and then I was in labor and basically my contractions pushed him out I did no pushing lol and I didnt rip and my baby has a huge bobble head lol I have no idea how come I didnt rip lol and they didnt have to cut me...I def have alot of respect for the women whom didnt get epidurals bc its tough..major props !!!

I dont feel like anyone is preeching and pushing people towards epidurals, we all are just posting our birthing experiences I dont think anyone is doing anything wrong right now. This posting topic was just to let other woman know that childbirth isnt something to fear.. and that its beautiful, so please dont assume that any of these posters are preaching about epidurals, I for one like epidurals while being in labor, for the woman who can birth naturally, more power to you! :)

I was 17 at the time and she is 6 years my little one is 11 months. I was VERY underdeveloped down there so my body didn't produce enough of the hormones that make your joints and ligaments soft and hips widen so yeah...ouch face. It was pretty traumatic and I had PPDfrom it all and didn't want to hold my baby for about 30 minutes I was so traumatized from it. But hey, sh*t happens!

My baby was only 7 lb 1 oz BUT my hips were too narrow and didn't spread even tho I was fully dilated so my dr put his hands inside of me and shoved them apart thus tearing me up inside. I didn't tear at all on the outside it was all internal. It was aweful. But the laboring wasn't bad. With my second the laboring was 100x more painful but I only pushed 4 times and i didn't tear at all. I'm actually looking forward to it again because this is our last baby so this one is going to be very special :)

People push epidurals so much these days. Its sad. Your body was made to go through labor and delivery. What if there was no epidural? Would these women never have kids then? I respect other womens choices but why preach about how every women should have them?  You wouldn't like it if women who did med free were preaching about it.

My lil sis had an epidural and after delivery she threw up everywhere from it she had a bad reaction I was there when she was in labor and she was so lethargic it was unreal. Some people can do it some people can't but it's up to every woman to make her own choice but I don't promote epidurals because I've never had one. :)

I was so relaxed the doctors kept asking if I was even having contractions. No I'm not superwoman and I don't claim to be although it can be done.
