so upset idk what to do
So i applyed for finacial help and got rejected because my boyfriend has a job. I have no money right noq and fining a job is nearly imposslible where i am, i2ve tryed everything idkwhat to do anymore. We both have depts to pay and i have no clotjes that fit me and no money to buy them, my boyfriemds saving all the money he makes for the baby i have rent to pay too im so stressed out !
Ugh i hate that, i know people lie about thier situations to get money but im not going to risk that . I hate how strict they are especally with pregnancy ! Thanks girl ill try calling or going in and ya its ow
Ontario government is not the greatest, because you live together you are consider common law. What did you try OW ?? I'm from ontario and I don't get mat leave bc I don't have enough hours as well bc my house hold income is over the bracket they told me if I was single, living at home or on my own and didn't work they would help. I don't know how much your bf makes but if it's under 25,000 a year you should get a lot of help after the baby is born, but till then doesn't sound like there going to help. You can call the government hotline and they will help you or go down to a government office and ask them for some places that might help

He does have to be on it if you live together but you put him as a roommate because you are not married. Youre supposed to put that your finances are seperate, you each pay a certain amount of rent, and you list your separate bills. In florida I went to a community clinic run by the government and I got a proof of pregnancy, and sent that in with my forms too. I did not qualify on my own because I have a job but my boyfriend qualified so we got a food stamps and medicaid because he is jobless. So there is no reason why you wouldn't qualify for help.

Buy leggings to get you over the hump you can get them for like 5/7 dollars. Look into outreach groups and churches. there might be one in your area that helps with job placement, clothes, food to help alleviate some stress. Good luck.
