i survive with just a couple and yes i prefer the ones with out the wire for comfort, also i wear the cotton sports bras sometimes that dont have much support lol but just at night(and when i wear them i wear a tank top so its easier to pull down both straps)... i hate wearing bras to bed so anything to make it more comfortable
I got them at walmart and they were a 2 pk and only $17 dollars.
I'm going to have to buy the ones without the wire for night time, too, I never thought of that! I just put pads in my tank top and hoped they stayed in place at night, haha!!
yes I agree with Ktowne, buy them loose because your breasts will get big!
I lovedd my nursing bra, wayy easier to access that way! I bought mine before I had my son, this time I'll be buying it so it fits a little loosely because my boobs got HUGE when my milk came in.
I also found I stretched out a lot of my regular bras by pulling them up to feed.
Yes it is a preference, i liked them because they are easier, but you don't have to have them. I will say though the cotton ones without a wire are good for at night because you need something to hold your pads in at night or you will leak all over the bed lol.
I think that's what I'll do :)...
I agree it's personal preference. I found them useful.
Nursing bras are more convienent and more comfy. I use them cuz I find them wayy more comfortable than ur regular bra. I would just buy one and try it out and see how you like them. Everyones different but I would deffinently recommend it:)
Thanks ladies! Tmi but my breast haven't grown too much and I'm due the 16th....did you find that the bras without wire were more comfortable?
I found them a little more convenient most of the time but it was a little fiddly doing them back up when out at times, especially when you are trying to be discrete about it. Normal bras are just as good though. The most important thing is wearing a bra which is supportive and comfortable. You also need to bare in mind the difference in size before and after feeding which at times I found could be quite drastic. I would say 3 or 4 good bras are best as I found sometimes the pads moved and I needed to change during the day.
I breastfed my daughter til she was 18months. I never used a nursing bra, I didn't even try one.. I didnt suffer or anything because of it.. It is really about what makes you comfortable. I will suggest To wait till after you establish nursing, as you boobs will probably change a bit..
