guilt

So lately my partner has been more excited about the baby than i. I mean I want to have a baby but with always being sick nd already 2 infection it's annoying. When we got the baby's first pic at 8wks I just handed them to him becuz upon that news the doc tells me I have an yeast infection(just great). I feel a bit guilty because I mean I love my baby but with all that's going on I really cnt grasp the beauty of it all. Am I a terrible mother to be?

It does not mean you are a bad person or will be a bad mother...I absolutely hate being pregnant,  almost with a passion. I am sick from day one until the better part of my second trimester,  and I just am not myself.  I feel grungy all the time even when I don get dressed up to go on a nice date or whatever. I am constantly tired, I have no energy for my kids that I have to take care of so they suffer in a way.  I get fat and I'm do hormonal and am such a b**** I get on my own nerves. The only time I can enjoy being pregnant is after the fact when I can think about all the good things without having to deal with all the crap and I love my kids more than anything in this world. Plus, I always have an infection when I go for my first appointment and ultrasound...that's how I know I'm pregnant in the first place lol. It will pass by quickly and you will have your little one and its totally worth it.

No not at all. Its hard to be excited when having a hard pregnancy. It will all change. Lots of women go through this you're not alone. I didn't feel as connected to this baby as I did with my first but once ibhad him that all changed. It was hard for me to think I could love anyone else the same or as much. But I was wrong once I had him I loved him instantly the same.
