hands keep going to sleep?!

Im getting a little concerned with my hands! Im just sitting on my bed and my right hand fell half way to sleep. So i layed on my left side and it didn't help. Its like they randomly getting that warm, partial tingly, dead feeling and it lasts a while. I thought maybe the baby was just on a nerve but i wanna make sure thats not a sign of like preclampsia or something? I only ask bcus ive seen girls get swollen hands/arms and be diagnosed bcus it was accompanied by high blood pressure. Its been over a week since mine was checked so i dono if i have high blood pressure ... any advice

It happens to.my hands all the.time and randomly to.ONE.foot JUST my left one.lol IDK pregnancy is a crazy thing!

Now that I remember, I had it with my first pregnancy and it was terrible. It hurt so bad. Any little movement made me be in pain. When I was in labor, I couldn't even grab on to anything when I was pushing because of the pain. I also got it with my second pregnancy, but it wasn't bad at all. Oh, by the way, with my first pregnancy, It didn't go aways until about 3 months later.

You have pregnancy carpel tunnel...there isnt much you can do. My siater in law had that and she was told to wear wrist braces...

Crazy,  i didn't know this was a common thing in pregnancy.  This is my 3rd but its my first time experiencing the numbness in my hands. Ive noticed my arms n hands go fully to sleep when i lay on one side for my than an hour but i always ignored that and just thought how annoying it was!! Thanks ladies... makes me feel better

I cried with  my sons pregnancy i had this so bad  i found if i applied pressure to the bend of my arm the pain was gone almost instantly! Im 11wks preg again & already having the same problem :(

I have the same problem. Doctor says exactly what the other ladies have said. I am 33weeks2days and it has gotten even worse. I have also had a ridiculious amount of stress this pregnancy and notice that it is worse when I'm really stressed. My mom passed away a month ago and the day before her memorial it was so bad...my whole right side and left leg were numb and asleep. Unfortunately the doctor says theres nothing you can do about it

Yup it's pregnancy induced Carpal tunnel! :( It worsens as you progress, I got it sooo bad with DS, it would make my hands fall asleep all the time!

It's normal. I even get some numbing above my mouth and my doctor said it was normal. I get it more on my arms and hands when I lie down. It feels awful, but it goes away if I change positions or get up and walk around.

Its pregnancy carpal tunnel.  Try getting carpal tunnel wrist braces to sleep in at night and it should help.  You can get them at walgreens or Cvs.  I had this with all three pregnancies.  It will go away after birth.  Good luck.

I've been having that same problem I talked to my doctor about it and she told me it was normal with pregnancy my hands get numb all the time
