hard tummy and contractions???

With the starting contractions, does your tummy always go hard? I think I just lost part of my plug and I'm getting pain and lower back ache on and off but my tummy isn't going hard. I'm 41 weeks today so it would be about time!!

Haja yea she's starting to out stay her welcome now! lol. Then been going on for almost an hr and a half now. I've only just started timing. Will call L&D if they still going in a couple hours. Thank you ffor your help!

Thanks ktowne. They definitely regular but only been going on for about half an hour.  Could be Braxton Hicks, Don't want to get too excited yet..lol

It was very hard for me to tell my stomach was hardening during contractions (and that was seeing my contractions on a screen and feeling my stomach at the same time). You may not feel it.
