I went to Florida at 34 weeks with my first and it was so nice to have a break from going to work and preparing for baby. My husband and I just got to chill and do our own thing for a week... it was almost as good almost a honeymoon :-) wish we could do the same thing this time around, but with our first being 4 years old we don't have that kind of freedom/luxury anymore!

I wouldn't want to go anywhere right now. I'm 6 months pregnant and a simple trip to the mall or the doctors office sometimes a hardship....I can't imagine going farther then that.

For a lot of people, this is the way it is for years after they have the kids.  Once you have a child, life becomes about them.  Most of what I do is for/with my kiddos.   Life changes completely after you have baby and that is why it is a 24/7 job being a mom.  but I don't mind it at all.  I would rather ride the merry go round with my kids that a roller coaster without them.  :)

I recently went for a weekend away, I'm 34w and the hotel turned down the hot tub for me so I could go in, if not you can dangle your legs in, also maybe find some nice scenic walks :)

I know how you feel. There's a ton of restrictions on pregnant women and it ***** but just remember you won't be pregnant forever and that it'll be so worth it once your bundle of joy arrives. (20 weeks pregnant myself)
