I dont like taking meds and try to find "natural ways" of relieving whatever pain or problem I have.  I find that eating light plain foods in small amounts helps me. i usually avoid spicy or extra flavorful foods, as well as spagetti and pizza.

I started off with Tums. They didn't do a thing for me. My doctor told me it was ok to take regular strength PepcidAC. It's been a lifesaver!!

I found cutting out salt after 4pm really helped me. I was to the point where I would go to bed and be up all night feeling like I was going to be sick mine was so bad...I'm sure each person is different though.

Do not take tums if youre taking prenatals. Just had this talk with my doc literally 5 minutes ago. They defeat the purpose of prenatals and make them non effective. I just got prescribed zantac and hoping it works. So glad i waited to ask her first before taking tums

The extra strength Tums work really well. But you could also try eating a pickle or just drinking some of the juice.

Don't eat 2 hours before bed. Sleeping slightly elevated helps too.

Zantac! You can actually buy it in store without prescription but its kinda pricey I think like 20 dollars or ask your doctor to write you a prescription for it and its usually cheaper..I have Medicaid and get prescriptions for free so my doctor wrote me one for zantac!
