My levels were 44,000 at 6 weeks exactly with my second pregnancy. Every woman and pregnancy is very different though, so you could be earlier or later than that. HCG levels have a very wide range of normal for the amount of weeks you are. If you're unsure of your dates, your doctor can date your pregnancy with an ultrasound.
i have a scan yesterday which showed only the sac with no baby there i thought i were at least 9 weeks gone :0( had a blood test done those were the results and got to go back tomorrow for another blood test to see if the pregancy is still viable
I wish you all the best. With my second pregnancy, I had the blood test (which like I said was 44,000) and the next day an ultrasound. I was 6 weeks for the blood test and 6 weeks 1 day for the ultrasound. The ultrasound showed a baby that was only the size of a grain of rice and his heartbeat was only 114bpm. That tiny baby is now my two year old son. If you are only 6 weeks or so, I've seen so many stories of women seeing only a gestatinol sac and then going back and seeing and seeing a baby in a later ultrasound. I really hope you're just not as far along as you thought. Also, if your numbers from today don't double, don't worry. Mine didn't either.
