Hello my wife high risk and last year we lost or son because he came to early.  And he in a better place.. it was hard but now she with child again what should we do differently?

Also I'm very sorry for ur loss. im grieving for my nephew and i can't even imagine if it'd been my lil girl. my prayers go out to u and ur wife. Best wishes to u both.

Ask her doc whether or not an incompetent cervix had anything to do with it..my sis in law just lost her son yesterday because he came @ 18wks. the doc said she had an incompetent cervix and they'll have to put stitches in nxt time to prevent it happening again.

My sister in law has high risk pregnancies. She lost her first baby because he also came too early. She has managed to have one healthy pregnancy since then and is expecting another next month. Your wife needs to see her doctor for frequent monitoring. Listen to what the doctor says. The good thing is they know she is high risk now so the chance of having a repeat of last time is not as high. Help her relax and get lots of rest. Make sure she eats properly and takes her prenatals.

Dont over do it. Rest up alot. Stay hydrated. So she needs to mainly drink water or gatorade. Plan healthy meals full of pregnancy superfoods. And if something doesnt feel right dont hesitate to call the dr or go to the hospital
