Yeah the horse I've been riding is relatively new to our farm but he's a good boy it was only the second time I rode him but I'm super careful... and we mostly walked his trots alil bouncy so I was posting and I didn't do it a lot thanks for the advice ladies I haven't been to the Dr yet and I just wondered if anyone had talked to their drs about it :) so I'm thinking unless my Dr says different when I go I'll keep riding but stick to slow trail rides :)
I'm 30 weeks and still horse back riding. I just take it easy and be careful =)
We have a farm nd I ride my horse daily or every other day but I've had her for yrs so there is nothing even unexpected she never spooks nd we knw eachother inside nd out she is actually expecting also were actually due around the same time I knw she's tired considering mares carry for 11mnths nd she has 5more months to go I ride her bare back so we dnt really trout but my doc said its completely fine I've rode w all my pregnancy nd usually stop around 36weeks ... But if u dnt knw the horse well I wudnt risk it
Doc told me nothing like that at all lol. I wasn't a horse rider but atv & jet ski type she told me that all activities with a lot of shaking or bouncing was bad
I've only been on one trail ride since I found out and I know last time I was pregnant the Dr told me if you're used to doing a physical activity there is no reason to stop... idk I lost my son during delivery last time so I'm so nervous about every little thing this time but I guess out of everything with the horses I am most worried about falling.... but if I have to go to ground work being around them is enough :) all I can say is world look out I'm bringing in another cowgirl lol... I think its a girl lol
I worked at a horse ranch before I was pregnant, I stopped riding/working as soon as I found out I was pregnant. Heaving lifting, including saddles, could cause a miscarriage. But more often than that when you are pregnant your body releases hormones that relaxes your muscles, you aren't as strong so its much easier to hurt yourself. It's nice to see another horsey mother to be!
